Clay Cross plant forms part of Worcester-Bosch (TTGB) and can be found in Clay Cross, Derbyshire. The plant is a 9,400 m² facility incorporating the manufacture of both oil fired and gas fired floor standing boilers in addition there are customer training facilities for both oil and renewable energy products. The Worcester brand is the UK market leader in domestic heating and hot water systems. It's a name that stands for reliability, quality, efficiency and value for money. Although primarily destined for the British market appliances manufactured at Clay Cross are also sold in a number of other European countries.
We are a leading British company, employing more than 1,600 people at our headquarters and manufacturing plants in Worcester and Clay Cross, Derbyshire, including a network of over 300 service engineers and over 80 technically trained field sales managers.
How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:
- Planning 2 sessions of around 15 per session maximum.
- Starting at 10.00am and 13.00pm.
- Scheduled tours and presentation of our manufacturing process.
- Covering our Press-Weld-Assembly operations.
- Including both upstream and downstream aspects of the product.
