How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

At the North East Automotive Expo 2023, we will be showcasing the aiPRESS electric servo press from IEF-Werner which is typically used for high-precision joining and forming applications. The aiPRESS combines precision position and force to give consistency and accuracy, with the added benefit of data-logging capabilities. By automating your joining tasks, the risk of repetitive strain injury (RSI) to workers is eliminated. We will also be demonstrating a Universal Robots cobot in a polishing application in the Technology Zone. Fitted with a Mirka polishing head, the cobot will be polishing a car bumper. The solution is easy to set up and delivers consistent, highquality results. This application will be mounted onto a Vention high-quality, custom framework modular solution for robots. The custom robot equipment can be used to support applications including surface finishing, bin picking and machine tending, all of which RARUK Automation currently offer as off-the-shelf application solutions. In terms of mobile robots, Vention also offer top modules and docks for AMRs.
