About us
Plymouth Manufacturers' Group (PMG) is a membership network of manufacturers from across the city of Plymouth and its surrounding area. The group created the PlymouthMakes.co.uk website to act as a digital resource for young people, families, and schools to get to know the area's manufacturers and be inspired by all that Plymouth makes.
How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:
PMG will presenting what Plymouth Makes and celebrating National Manufacturing Day at Plymouth's biggest Multi-Industry Schools Careers Fair - Launchpad Live on 26th and 27th September at Plymouth Life Centre. The PMG will be situated in the Manufacturing and Engineering Zone and joined by some of its members for the careers fair, where visitors to the event will be able to interact with the products we make in Plymouth, and get involved with some hands-on activities such as folding a plane from metal, a mystery object quiz, exploring a factory by VR and more!
Open to all ages : Drop-in – Free Entry (No need to book).
