Fluorocarbon is one of the largest fluoropolymer processors, operating from 3 manufacturing sites: 2 in the UK and 1 in Europe, and partners globally, we aim to offer our customers high quality, cost effective solutions. Fluorocarbon specialises in the manufacture of complex machined components, PTFE seals, slide bearings, skidway systems and high-performance coatings. With over 60 years of experience and customers who are worldwide market leaders, we ensure our products and services are focused on meeting their increasing demands.

How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

The day will consist of the following:

• Set up 2 time slots intakes (10am and 11am). Those wishing to attend the site can book their place by emailing interest of attendance HR.Fluorocarbon@Fluorocarbon.co.uk. We will need their name, which time slot they wish to book, contact information, and details of what career they wish to explore (if known, but not a problem if not). I ask for the career choices as this will help me to tailor the event to what people wish to see.
• On the day we will have career focussed workshops that will include a site tour and, discussion of the roles sat within each Function/Dept and potential career paths in this field. These workshops will be supported by Dept Managers or SME’s doing some key roles that we wish to show case.
