About us

Based in Blackmill, South Wales, Coppice (part of the EP group) was originally founded in 1972 and now employs around 200 colleagues, with 95% living within a 5 mile radius of the site. We are an international supplier of aluminum packaging to the food processing, distributor, and wholesaler markets. As a global leader for innovative packaging solutions, we pride ourselves on manufacturing and supplying the highest quality products to our customers. Our continued international growth has been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for international exports.

How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

We would like to invite local schools, youth groups, University Students or anyone considering a career in Manufacturing to come and visit the site, take part in some activity workshops and awareness sessions; see the products we produce on site and learn more about aluminium and its uses; site tours will also be available although age restrictions do apply. There will be questions & answer sessions with a number of our employees and individuals will have the opportunity to learn more about the type of careers available at Coppice, including an opportunity to meet some of our existing Apprentices.

We will be offering time slots throughout the day and we would anticipate a visit would take about 1 ½ hours, with 3 sessions planned for the day (see below), numbers are restricted so advance booking is recommended although should we have more interest than we can safely accommodate on the day we will look to arrange a suitable alternative date. 

Session Times:

• 9:30am to 11am

• 12:00pm to 1:30pm

• 2:30pm to 4:00pm
